St George's Heights
The complete electrical package for eight high-end apartments, each tested before second fix, with zero defects at handover and repeat work from the client since.
Data points wired into each home before second fix, so the network is in the walls rather than on them.
We have used Frontline on numerous projects from rewiring our house to new installation in a seven unit conversion.
We wire the data points in each home back to a data cabinet before second fix, ready for the broadband provider.
Wiring before second fix hides the cables in the walls and puts the data points where buyers will use them: by the TV, in the study and in the bedrooms. Each point runs back to a data cabinet, usually in a cupboard near where the broadband comes in, so the router sits in one tidy place.
Part R of the Building Regulations requires new homes in England to have the physical infrastructure for gigabit broadband, so the incoming route is planned with you and the provider early, before the ground is finished. Every link is tested and labelled, and the results are handed over with the home's paperwork.
We work to your build programme, plot by plot, from bare shell to handover.
Every plot is tested before second fix and certified to BS 7671 by a NICEIC Approved Contractor, with the certificates ready for sale.
Yes. Since December 2022, Part R of the Building Regulations has required new homes in England to have the physical infrastructure for gigabit-capable broadband, such as ducts and access points, and a gigabit connection where one can be provided within the cost cap.
Usually in a cupboard close to where the broadband comes into the home, with a socket for the router. Out of the living space looks tidier, and a central position keeps the cable runs short. The position is agreed at the design stage.
